Joseph Lukies
I entered into the technical workspace in 2012 with enlistment into the Royal New Zealand Airforce, as an aircraft technician. My career has seen me maintaining a number of fixed-wing and rotary aircraft across the globe, building up a formidable skillset in the engineering space. In recent years, I have moved from working on the tools to managing PPM and reactive maintenance tasks. In 2019 I obtained a NZ CAA Aeronautical Maintenance Engineering Licence.
As an accredited Lean Six Sigma practitioner, I frequently conduct root cause analysis activities and uphold 5S and Kaizen practices. In 2023 I formalised my education by completing a Bachelor of Engineering Technology (Mechanical) with Auckland University of Technology.
For a long time I have proudly maintained a hobby of furniture design and construction, and have recently been fortunate enough to develop this hobby into a small business along with my partner. After proving myself in the design/build world, I am now looking for new challenges by finding employment in one of London's competitive engineering and design firms.
